Flying Babies

Baby sitting in a plane Woo hoo!!

I’m going on my first aeroplane ride tomorrow! I’m not old enough to have my own seat, so I’ll just sit on Mummy or Daddy’s lap. I hope one of them asked for a window seat so I can look outside! Yippee!

I was so excited about it today that I couldn’t sleep, all day! Even when Mummy insisted that it was time for me to have a nap, I stayed awake, because I am so excited! I don’t know why Mummy kept trying to convince me to go to sleep in the middle of the day, she was the one who looked like she needed the nap, not me!

We will be flying to Adelaide, which Daddy says is the place he grew up in and the town where the football team I will be supporting is based. I don’t know what football is, but Daddy says that living in Melbourne, that won’t last very long.

It is my Uncle Scott’s wedding on Saturday in Adelaide, and all of my family that I haven’t met yet will be there. I’m especially excited about meeting my cousin Blake, who is almost two years older than me. I’ve heard that he is a very smart boy and I can’t wait to play with him. Maybe he can teach me to crawl or say “Give me milk!” because every time I try and do either of those things (which is all the time) my body doesn’t do what I want it to and I get very frustrated! Adults just don’t understand us kids!

Oops, I think Mummy is a bit mad at me for still being awake. I better lie down and pretend that I’m asleep.

Wait, what’s that thing she’s shoving into my mouth? I don’t need mmth gurrgh thhb ftthb mmmph! Glrrbmph!

ZZzzzz…
