41 Degree Technicolour Dream

Me loves the hot weather.
Mummy and Daddy said today was 41 degrees, which they think is waaay too hot, but me love it! There are so many reasons why a super hot day is the BEST!
- Me gets to run around as a nudie
- Me gets to convince Daddy to blow the inflatable pool up so me can have my evening bath on the back lawn like a princess
- Me gets to splash Daddy and he doesn’t mind as much as usual.
- Mummy and Daddy normally don’t let me play the water sports inside the house, but when it’s this hot they don’t seem to care as much and let me splash all over the carpet (me loves to pour the water from one cup to another, then back again, then give Teddy a drink, then Mrs Bunny, then my baby doll. It’s great!)
- Me gets to have a fan going in my room. Me love the fan. It goes round and round and round. I keep pointing out to Mummy and Daddy about how it goes round and round, but I don’t think they appreciate the finer points of this technological wizardry.
But the reason why me loves the hot weather the bestest is because me gets to do some science experiments! That’s right—today me thought it would be fun to stick all of me crayons into a BIG green bucket. Then when Mummy and Daddy weren’t paying attention, me ducked outside and planted the bucket in the middle of the yard so it could get lots and lots of heat.
Anyway, looking at the results me think the experiment was a success. Just wait til Mummy and Daddy see it. They’ll love it!
