(snippet from a tantrum occurring at bathtime)
Dad: I need to wash your face, sweetheart.
Scout: NO DADDY!!! WE NEED TO WASH MY BOTTOM FIRST!!!
Dad: Let’s wash your face, and then we’ll wash your bottom.
Scout: NO DADDY!!! I NEED TO WASH MY BOTTOM FIRRRST!!! ARGH!!!
Dad: Erm, sweetie, we always use the cloth to wash your face first, and then your bottom, so we don’t get poo in your mouth.
Scout: I NEED POO IN MY MOUTH DADDY!!!!!!
