Want Barbie

Posted on Dec 20, 08:55 am by Wriggle Pot

Scout: Mum, can I have a Barbie for Christmas?
Mum: Not this Christmas sweetie, you’re too young. Maybe when you’re 6 or 7.
Scout: What about when I’m 4?
Mum: What about when you’re 6 or 7.
Scout: Mum, that would be a great idea! What about when I’m 10?
Mum: I’m OK with 10…

Santa (again)

Posted on Dec 16, 08:46 am by Wriggle Pot

With the ANZ SantaMummy took me to see a Helper Santa today at her work. It was hot and I met a little friend, Brookie who was smaller than me and she followed me around and did everything I did. It was like looking in a mirror! Only smaller.

Then I had to see that big red dude with da belly who was just a bit grumpy. I had to have me mummy sit with me but that Brookie, she just marched up and sat with Santa. Wo. Now Brookie things I’m “shy”. “Shy”???? Are you kidding me? I’ll show that little nipper peep all about the Scout! Later. Right now I gotta go cool off.

Don't skip the ads!

Posted on Nov 22, 08:51 am by Wriggle Pot

Did you know that in the ads they show really cool brand stuff? I never knew! I used to ask mummydaddy to “skip the ads please!” but not anymore, no sirreee. They show DORA in the ads! They show “DIEGO” in the ads. And…and… and “BARBIE” in the ads. And to think I shouted out all the time to skip the ads! Sheesh. What’s wrong with the Wrigglepot?

3.5 year checkup

Posted on Nov 13, 07:08 am by Wriggle Pot

Writing the AlphabetI went to me 3.5 year checkup at the nursie’s today. She had me jumping through hoops that nurse! Well, not really, although I did show her the highest jump in the whole wide world!

She tested me on colours and numbers and counting and tested my eyes. But then she truly stumped me. She had a book that had a couple of those mouse-things and I couldn’t remember me the word for more than one mouse. So I say “Squeakies”? in me shyest voice so I can get points for cute. Ha! I scored through the roof on that geiger-counter, me!

These are a few of my favourite things...

Blair Waldorf, Eat my DirtPlaying Dressups! Me fave ensemble is me oversized sunnies, heels (they have sparkes and flowers!) and a fairy dress of some sort. Oh and a mirror. Portable. Fixed. Not bothered – as long as I can see me form in it.

Freestyling me up some songs. But I’ve already told you about that!

Me mate Aurora. She is a serious friend. She’s much bigger than me but I can kick it with the big kids, you know. We had a sleepover and I was so excited I nearly wet me pants! Several times!!!

"Warm Mermaid"Drawing. You should SEE some of me drawings. I can’t even tell you! So I’ve provided an example for proof of me sweet talent – I call this one “Warm Mermaid”.

And I do love a gossip on the blower. Mummydaddy call me a “Talker”. I’m guessing that’s a good thing…

Tigers Forlorn

Easy, TigerSo. I’m still a Tigers fan apparently. Me creche had a footy dressup day and Mummy made me wear this. Embarrassing, I can’t even tell you. We didn’t get to play with the footy outside because it poured and poured and poured with rain. It was enough to match me sour black and yellow mood.

Freestylah!

Me favourite thing to do these days is to freestyle sing. I take a song and make up me own words and strike some serious poses in the mirror. I get the rhymin’ and the rhythm happening and I won’t be stopped! Mummy took some film of me the other day. I like to call this “Being Harmony”. Check it.

Swing Out Stister

Swing out "Stister"Yes. It’s me. The brave and true rock climber. Actually, I didn’t go in much for the actual climbing bit, I preferred to swing. I thought it was funny, but me other rockclimbing peeps didn’t like me swinging into them too much.

I made me new BFF (she’s 5!) laugh though. Oh, I am born to entertain at a great height.

After Scout has woken after an unusual daytime nap:

Mum: Scout, did you know you are beautiful when you’re asleep?
